Levendi Λεβέντης – (leh-VEN-dee) to be called “Levendi” is afforded the highest of compliments in the Greek language. It compliments a person who is an eye pleasing physical specimen, but they must also have stoicism, virtue and integrity. A total package. This is our vision for our dogs. Health and temperament are always the priority. Breed type coupled with sound structure are the next components when deciding to pair our dogs.

My name is Christina Caridis, and I have had dogs my entire life. My father was a horse trainer by trade but loved all animals. Training dogs has come from a deep foundation which includes continued learning through courses and trainers. Thirteen years ago, my first Manchester was acquired, and I completely fell in love with this breed. I have been breeding for ten years, bred multiple top winning dogs, and honored to be an AKC Breeder of Merit. I have competed with my dogs in conformation, obedience, agility, and tracking.

My dogs have earned multiple championships, grand-championships, and performance championships. I am a member of the AKC Manchester Terrier National Breed Club – American Manchester Terrier Club (AMTC) and have served as an Officer of the Board for the past three terms. Professionally, I have worked at our local hospital, Seton Medical Center, as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist for the past twenty-three years.

My husband and I live in Daly City, CA with our eight Manchester Terriers ranging from 12 years to 16 months old. I breed Manchester terriers limitedly, and purely because I love this breed. You should know they are exceedingly rare and only exist because of the dog show community. Many researchers and genetics experts warn they are an endangered breed and have labeled them on preservation status worldwide. There is no profit to be made in preservation breeding. The price of each puppy will go back to health screening, training, and competing for the next generation. We also pride ourselves to give back to the breed club with periodical donations whether it is Rescue, the General Fund, Health and Research.

Each puppy is given the same amount of love and devotion. We use a combination of Avidog and Puppy Culture systems for raising the pups through various phases of growth. I highly recommend you acquaint yourself in either system, so you understand where to pick up the training when your puppy transitions to your home whether you get a puppy from or someone else. If I have no puppies available, I am happy to refer you to another breeder. Please also visit the AMTC Rescue for an available Manchester that may need a loving home.
